Jeffrey Ashton is simply the best. I don’t think we could’ve found a better realtor to sell our house. After carefully interviewing agents from 5 real estate companies, we gave him the listing, and we couldn’t be happier. We are both lawyers, and we’re pretty picky and detail oriented, and we never had a single complaint about Jeffrey. He is meticulous, and time after time he went above and beyond what was needed to try to sell our house. He has almost 2 decades of experience, and had great suggestions on how to make the house look its best, how to advertise and what to emphasize in a showing. Once a good offer came in, he made sure to follow up on everything he could in order to get to a closing as quickly as possible, and he even followed up on things that the buyers’ agent and the buyers’ attorney should’ve done but didn’t seem to know how to do or that they just let slide. Jeffrey also has such a kind and easy manner, always, and he was excellent at remembering details we told him about the house. We trusted him to be reliable in dealing amicably and knowledgeably with potential buyers. And when there were issues that came up during negotiations and during the house inspections, he had good advice for us on our options, and we knew he would present what we decided in the best possible way. All of Jeffrey’s good attributes make for a terrific realtor, and, even more important, they make for a terrific person. He really did far more than he had to for us at every turn, and it showed in the result he got for us. The bottom line really is: if only the world had a lot more people like Jeffrey, we’d all be so much better off.

I first crossed paths with Jeffrey in 2012 when I placed a cold call to him after viewing a Catskill vacation property online. We met in person shortly thereafter and over the coming weeks we spent several afternoons viewing multiple properties that met my criteria.One of the first things I noticed about him was his relaxed demeanor. He’s simply an easy person to engage with. He doesn’t push or pressure. His communication is precise and clear. I am living in California and was moving to New York. So this was a very long distance move and I was unable to be very present very quickly in New York. Three years before ultimately working with my wife Gina and I on the purchase of a home, Jeffrey kindly took me and my parents around beautiful Delaware County for our first introduction to real estate in the region. And we did so while working with a team of the *many* individuals that Jeffrey was able to recommend (all of whom we would just as vociferously endorse). His last act of quick thinking and expertise was to help us get what turned out to be a fairly urgent fill-up of home heating oil on Christmas Eve, the day after we closed.Jeffrey was simply great.
